We, the members of Calvary Bible Church do covenant together, God helping us, that as strangers and pilgrims we will abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; that we will put away from us all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and evil speaking, and be kind one to another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven us; that as we have opportunity we will do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith; that we will remember them which have the rule over us, who speak unto us the Word of God; and that we will give as God hath prospered us; not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loveth a cheerful giver.
We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God, the infallible and only rule of faith and practice. We believe in one God existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, co-equal and eternal. We believe that man was created in innocence, but fell in Adam, and is now totally unable to remedy his lost condition. We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose precious blood was shed on Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins. We believe in eternal salvation of the believer and the eternal judgment of all who reject Jesus Christ. We believe that Christ instituted the ordinances of baptism and the Lord's Supper to be observed until He comes. We believe that it is the responsibility of all who are saved to seek to win others to Christ.
